Mitä tarkoittaa

'They' on englannin kielen pronomini, jota käytetään viittaamaan useampaan henkilöön tai olentoon. Se voi myös olla sukupuolineutraali pronomini, joka tarkoittaa, että se voi viitata yksittäiseen henkilöön, jonka sukupuolta ei haluta määritellä. 'They' on yleisesti käytetty sekä puheessa että kirjoituksessa, ja se on tärkeä osa englannin kielen kielioppia. Suomen kielessä vastaava pronomini on 'he' monikossa, ja suomen kieli ei erikseen käytä sukupuolineutraalia muotoa yksikössä.
