Mitä tarkoittaa

Stack on termi, jota käytetään kuvaamaan esineitä, jotka on asetettu päällekkäin muodostaen kasan tai pino. Stack-käsite on yleinen monilla aloilla, kuten tietojenkäsittelyssä, missä se viittaa tietorakenteeseen, jossa viimeksi lisätty elementti poistetaan ensimmäisenä (LIFO - Last In, First Out). Stack voi viitata myös fyysisiin esineisiin, kuten pinoon kirjoja, laatikoita tai muita objekteja, jotka on järjestetty päällekkäin. Stack-käsitteellä on merkittävä rooli myös ohjelmoinnissa ja algoritmeissa, ja se on keskeinen osa monimutkaisempia tietorakenteita ja ohjelmointimalleja.
