Mitä tarkoittaa
Viipale tarkoittaa ohutta palasta, joka on leikattu jostakin suuremmasta kokonaisuudesta. Viipaleita käytetään usein ruoanlaitossa ja tarjoilussa, kuten leivän, juuston, lihan tai hedelmien kanssa. Esimerkiksi leipäviipaleet tarjoillaan usein voileivissä, ja juustoviipaleet voidaan tarjoilla erilaisissa juustotarjottimissa. Viipaleen paksuus ja koko voivat vaihdella, ja niitä voidaan myös käyttää koristeena tai lisukkeena eri ruoissa.
