Mitä tarkoittaa

Uima-allas on rakennettu vesiallas, jota käytetään uimiseen, vesileikkeihin tai muuhun vesitoimintaan. Uima-altaita on erilaisia, kuten ulkoisia ja sisäisiä, ja ne voivat olla valmistettu esimerkiksi betonista, muovista tai metallista. Uima-altaat voivat olla yksityisiä tai julkisia, ja niiden koko vaihtelee pienistä lasten altaista suuriin kilpa-allasrakennuksiin. Uima-altaissa on yleensä suodatus- ja kierrätysjärjestelmiä veden puhtauden ylläpitämiseksi. Uima-altaat ovat suosittuja vapaa-ajan viettopaikkoja, ja ne tarjoavat mahdollisuuden virkistäytymiseen ja liikuntaan erityisesti lämpiminä kuukausina.
