Pomegranaatti (Punica granatum) on monivuotinen pensas tai pieni puu, joka kuuluu pomegranaattikasvien sukuun. Se on alkuperäisin Lähi-idästä ja on levinnyt laajasti eri puolille maailmaa, erityisesti lämpimille ja subtrooppisille alueille. Pomegranaatti on tunnettu sen kauniista, punaisista hedelmistä, jotka ovat täynnä mehukkaita siemeniä. Hedelmät ovat ravinteikkaita ja sisältävät runsaasti antioksidantteja, vitamiineja ja kivennäisaineita. Pomegranaatti on myös symbolinen hedelmä monissa kulttuureissa, ja sitä käytetään usein ruoassa, juomissa ja lääkinnällisissä sovelluksissa.
