Se voi viitata myös ihmisten välisten suhteiden negatiiviseen dynamiikkaan, kuten ilkeyteen, katkeruuteen tai syrjintään. Nastiness voi ilmetä monin eri tavoin, kuten vihamielisenä käytöksenä, loukkaavina sanoina tai muina negatiivisina ilmiöinä, jotka vaikuttavat ihmisten vuorovaikutukseen ja yhteiskunnan ilmapiiriin.
