Mitä tarkoittaa
Crib, eli pinnasänky, on erityisesti vauvojen ja pikkulasten nukkumiseen tarkoitettu sänky. Se on yleensä matala ja sen laidat ovat korkeammalla kuin sängyn pohja, mikä estää lasta putoamasta sängystä. Pinnasänkyjä on useita eri tyyppejä, ja ne voivat olla valmistettu puusta, metallista tai muista materiaaleista. Nykyisin monet vanhemmat valitsevat muunneltavia sänkyjä, jotka kasvavat lapsen mukana. Pinnasängyt ovat olennainen osa lastenhoitoa, ja niiden turvallisuusstandardit ovat tiukkoja, jotta varmistetaan lasten turvallisuus nukkuessaan.
