Mitä tarkoittaa
Sana 'ydin' voi viitata moniin eri asioihin kontekstista riippuen. Ensinnäkin se voi tarkoittaa fyysistä ydintä, kuten atomiydintä, joka koostuu protoneista ja neutroneista ja on aineen perusyksikkö. Toiseksi se voi viitata keskeiseen tai tärkeään osaan jostakin, kuten 'ydinviesti' tai 'ydinosa' jossakin asiassa.
